Tucked along the lively Quai de la Seine in the 19th arrondissement, this spot draws a diverse crowd looking for casual, comfortable dining with a bit of a creative twist. The interior feels spacious yet cozy, set in a repurposed building with a quirky charm—think school desks for furniture—that adds a subtle nostalgic touch. It’s a place where you can settle in for anything from a quick bite to a relaxed late-night meal, with plenty of small plates, vegetarian options, and healthy choices on the menu.
The food leans towards hearty, well-portioned dishes that suit solo diners, groups, and families alike. Alongside winding down over coffee or indulging in a cocktail, visitors often enjoy a range of classics like beef tartare, pasta, and roasted camembert, paired with a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The music sets a laid-back, almost musical vibe that doesn't distract but complements the overall experience.
Service tends to be warm and attentive, making it accessible even if you’re navigating with limited French. Families with kids are well accommodated thanks to kid-friendly menu options and facilities like changing tables and high chairs. The outdoor seating offers a nice spot to watch the neighborhood go by, especially on a sunny day. While the restaurant welcomes a broad mix—from local college students to tourists and LGBTQ+ visitors—it maintains an easygoing, inclusive energy that invites you to linger over a late brunch or a casual dinner reservation.

4 Spacious repurposed building where the furniture is school desks. Good food and service. I thought the king prawns on my tagliatelle were a bit mushy but otherwise liked it all. Reasonable prices. Loved the banoffee
4 A colorful spot with a musical vibe and outstanding service. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the CAMEMBERT RÔTI AU MIEL ET PIGNON, the BROWNIE, the TARTARE DE BOEUF ET FRITES MAISON and the LINGUINE. We 100% recommend it, definitely coming back! P.D.: if you're visiting, ask for a big bottle of water, it's a smart way to skip paying for drinks in Paris :))
5 We had a great time eating here tonight: the staff were friendly and helpful and were patient with us despite not speaking much French. The food was delicious, including the beef burger, chicken and vegetarian lasagna. We enjoyed it so much we had desserts, which were also very enjoyable. Another highlight was meeting the cat, who was so adorable and joined us for a while after we finished eating. I would happily come back for either food, drink or both!
5 Love this place, laid back and very friendly. Huge portions with swift service. Probably our best experiance so far eating out in Paris. Would 100% recommend. 4.8/5
5 Awesome vibes, great food and great service. One of my go to lunch spots. Lunch deal: Entrée + Plat + Dessert = 20€
4 Well located by the canal, this restaurant is very baby/kid friendly! They have high chairs, toys, books and a dedicated area for kids! However you need to pay 8€ to access this area.. The food in general is simple and good, nothing extraordinary but for a high volume restaurant it's fine!
5 really fun spot along the canal ourcq in a laid back corner of paris. luckily not many tourists find their way here, which makes it even better. friendly service, great duck breast, and I’ll be back in january to check out the weekend vibe
5 Plates are generous and flavorsome, not overpriced to my options. Just a warning to avoid disappointment if you are used to eat very warm ( in temperature) dishes as (like many places in Paris) are not served piping hot. But if you are open you will still enjoy.
Customers often enjoy the Camembert rôti au miel et pignon, tartare de boeuf et frites maison, and the vegetarian lasagna. Don’t miss their banoffee and brownies for dessert.
